Feeka.

Back for more brunch place !

I never thought that I would run out of suggestion to friends whenever they want to head for brunch. I have been isolating myself for a little because of assignment dues. And, I am still not done with it yet.

Please drop me a message if you have awesome brunch place to share :)

I head to KL for Feeka which is located at Jalan Mesui. I heard that they serve pretty awesome food for brunch and also, they are pretty famous among the tourist for breakfast and coffee. When tourist like this place, I believe that it will meet up to expectations.

That's me and Jessica at the counter.

The purpose of having them up here , is to show you their idea of saving energy. I love how they use natural resources ( sunlight) instead of having their lamps on in the day. This definitely meet up to the expectation of reserving our mother Earth. A plus point for Feeka for having this thought and being a good example for everyone that steps in to Feeka.

Cakes on the deck , which are selling really fast.

We settled down with White Chocolate topped with nuts. I couldn't exactly remember the name but the cake was just fine. It was worth the rm12 I pay , but not the best I have tried. Perhaps the famous Lemon and Poppy Seed Cake , or Chocolate Tart would be a better choice.

Definitely love the choice of dark shade of table to make the coffee and cake stand out. The flower needs to be there to make it artistic. This is something insta-worthy, lol.

Latte at RM 10.

Cappucino at RM 10.

The coffee definitely meet up to expectations. I could say that, it is one of the best in town. I am not exaggerating because this is the first place I visited after I came back from Melbourne. You know how good the coffee is , over there. Every coffee I consumed basically suck after I am back from Melbourne, but the coffee in Feeka was good. Really good.

Beef Sandwich at RM18 .

One of the most recommended dish online, and I should say that it's really delicious. The portion is generous. The slices of sirloin is juicy and they have horseradish relish with swiss cheese which pairs up so perfectly. I thought it was just pink mayonnaise , but it's something healthier. The Roasted Rye Bread is crispy and fresh. Overall , it was a two thumbs up.

Brioche French Toast at RM16

I ordered this because I missed the french toast from Auction Rooms back in Melbourne. This is a cheating version compared to the one I had because they did not soak the french toast long enough so there are still white areas which is tasteless. The spiced pineapple and orange sauce was really yummy and I can assured that it's all homemade. I really loathe places that use canned or preserved food.

It's really unfair that I compared this to the ones in Melbourne. But if I haven't try those in Melbourne, this is overall okay. This is sweet based so if you prefer savoury food , this would be a no no.

Hi.

We couldn't fit them all in in a square so this is it.

I literally only have black , white and red in my wardrobe. I need more than three colours in life, lol.

till then.

Prague.

I have this habit of scrolling 9gag before I fall into slumber. Often, I only read things which is hilarious because I want to go to sleep with a light mood. It's unhealthy to fall asleep empty and waking up with the same thing , so as a heavy heart.

The picture above shows historical buildings with snow covering the roof enhancing the beauty of this romantic historical city. I always love modern city , and nothing close to the past. However, this is one of the city of my dreams which I must visit. I'm curious about this city if their sky is in a shed of purple-pink like how it is described, that couples walking on the street is more in love than whenever they are and every corner of the street gives you the hope for love.

It's just a picture, and it overwhelms me already.

I can't wait to visit you in future,
Prague.

The Owls Cafe .

This is me two months ago. Also, this proves how long this post is delayed in my drafts . I wanted to finish up all the post I have in drafts by the end of this year and I guess the plan is failing. December is always a little more busy than usual because I always want to tick the boxes of my checklist , and this year I guess it's almost done.

This new year resolution thing is actually pretty motivating. Or perhaps, I want to draw a full stop before I hit 21 next year.

People don't age according the figures of their age , maturity often comes with life experiences so I think that there is no difference. I just don't want to miss out anything I could do right now because I get lazier.

Throwback to a new cafe in Sri Petaling named The Owls Cafe.

I always love cafes showing this , allowing us to know the difference of the different cup of coffee they could offer.

Located at the second floor, the place is pretty limited in space. The interior major in white and peach, different from cafes which dim the lights with dark comfortable background. The Owls Cafe is rather more lively , and comfortable. The natural sunlight shining through the window with the full blast of aircond makes the whole environment alive. I love how cafe uses the natural sunlight in the day, and have their lights dim at the right point during the night.

The Owls Cafe's signature is their waffles.

Rebecca.

This is one of their signature waffle ; and I couldn't deny how beautiful the presentation is. Besides being insta-worthy, the waffle was really light and crispy. The bater was mixed really well , and the scent of milk was really strong. The generous amount of fresh fruits and soft vanilla ice cream topped up with the good reviews you could read online.

Rebecca was beyond delicious .

Couldn't get enough of the good presentation and taste of this waffle.

Flat White was light enough , and the coffee meet up to the expectation. It was smooth, and mild.

I think this combination is really the perfect match for an afternoon break. Sometimes you just need to have something different besides a slice of cake.

The Owls Cafe made my day .

However, there are limited choice of pastry, cakes and things on the menu during my visit. I believe that they have improvise them since they are offering more than just one kind of waffle , toast and so on. This place is good for people who want to spend their afternoon with comfort food and a cup of good coffee.

It would be perfect if the cafe emphasize on toning down their volume. It's not the people whom is in the place, but the way the barista brew the coffee was a little loud - it sounded like he was hammering something.

Besides that, everything is just fine.

Last picture , even if it looks more than just bad. lol .

till then.
