KRABI.

This was few months back where I visited Krabi. It was a short 3d2n trip which I think it's more than enough. We settled everything with minimal planning by purchasing flights and hotels one expedia , and island hopping , transfers and stuff on klook without any hassle.

It was meant to be a relaxing trip , and I'm glad it is.

This resort is small and fairly new. This place is pretty comfortable and it's located on a slope. I always choose places that is located in the city for easy access.

This beautiful bohamian tribal themed cafe is only a month old when we visited , serving vegan brunch , smoothie bowls and coffee. 

We took awhile to look for this place. They are located upstairs and the only way up is to climb onto a small metal ladder. They do not really have sign board as well so you gotta be sharp. When we were up , we were in awe with the place. It's really beautiful.

The smoothie bowl were pretty large in portion as it comes with a price tag which is slightly above average. The coffee was just alright , nothing to shout about.

We bought this island hopping trip from Klook at a fair price with lunch included. 

To be honest, this trip was better than expected. I expected it to be a rush since we have four islands to cover , squeezing in lunch and snorkeling but the timetable was well planned. Moreover, we actually started our trip at 930am as we needed to wait.

There are two islands that are abit crowded but it is still okay for me. 

I actually enjoyed it very much.

We actually live nearer to the beach instead of city center so we couldn't get authentic thai food around. In Ao Nang, many of the restaurants are thai-western fusion restaurants and Italian restaurants. 

We decided on Thailanda based on tripadvisor. 

The ambiance is pretty great. And , they have live band too. More over , the portion is huge and also yummy!

This restaurant is prolly the first restaurant to pop up on google when you type ' what to eat in krabi'.

Definitely, this is a place where all tourist goes as it features the perfect view of krabi , fine dining ambiance and also with top notch service where they could pick you up from your hotel to the restaurant.

Trust me, it's a bumpy ride up but the view was worth it.

An ocean themed cafe located right infront of the beach.

We decided to chill over at this cafe right before heading to the airport. The place is huge and very comfortable. 

They serve brunch, cakes and coffee.

We also went for full body massage two nights in a row with a very cheap price! It was so comfortable that we had such a good night sleep. 

Personally, I think krabi is perfect for a short trip like 3d2n. I wasn't interested with other activities so this duration of time was just perfect for me.

Kin Gyu.

Here is a picture of us as header because I do not have any other pictures. I didn't plan to blog about this place but this is the very first time, I have a complete set of pictures of food. Most of the time, people ran out of patience and devour the food right away. I shall not let them go waste.

It has been a while since we gathered. This time for XM's birthday at KinGyu , a fairly new place specialized in wagyu beef in Sri Hartamas. 

It's a little tricky to find this place as they show no signboard. When you see a golden bull hanging on the first floor in the busy area of Sri Hartamas , there is where it is located - upstairs. Just slide the wooden door to the right and they will welcome you really loudly. 

Really, I got shocked. 

We go for KinGyu Maki first , and I believe that this is a MUST order when you are here. It consists sea urchin, salmon roe, crab meat and raw wagyu which is a pretty luxurious combination at the price of RM27. 

Roll it over and devour it.

Next , we ordered some appetizers.

Japanese Pumpkin with Wagyu Salt Sauce and wagyu minced meat as topping. 

For this, I think it was just alright. 

Fried Sweet Potato with Honey.

This is my absolute favourite. I like how crispy the skin is and the texture of sweet potato is at the correct texture. This is the perfect side dish or appetizer. 

Asari Clam and Shirasu Whitebait with Fried Noodles.

It is very similar to Vongole Pasta but the noodles are egg soba noodles. 

Wagyu Sushi Box .

which contains 9 different type of wagyu sushi. This is actually a perfect box for one if you are having this as main. The price for this box is actually worth it compared to ordering the sushi one by one. For RM100, I really think that this is worth it. 

And of course, 

How can we missed out Wagyu Beef , the star of the night. 

Their wagyu beefs are in blocks and sold by weight. 

You can order your choice of meat and the chef will cut it right infront of you. We were too greedy with the starters and appetizers so we only went for two options. 

There are also many more type of dishes available of wagyu beef  available ; including shabu shabu , hotpot and some stir fried rice with beef which is pretty interesting.

What are birthdays without cakes and balloons ?

It wasn't planned but the themed of the night is all in sync.
